A picture of a female Downy Woodpecker on the suet feeder… It’s actually one of my better bird pictures in a while – click on the image will get you a larger view of the photo.The reddish thing on the left of the feeder all wrapped up in chicken wire is a pomegranate [...] I have been saving this picture for a week or so – it’s a picture of one of our many Eastern Bluebirds this fall – scoping out a winter nesting box.
