The planing for the 2013 CSA season is underway and we are in the process of contacting past members who will get the first chance to join. As much as we would love to have everyone as part of our CSA, we just can’t manage that.  We will fill any remaining openings after past members either accept or decline

If you are wondering how we do things as you are looking for a CSA that’s not already filled in 2013, here’s a copy of the contract we ask our members to sign when committing to the harvest season and it’s bounty (or struggle) HERE.

(You may also like to hear our thoughts about a CSA from the farmers perspective in our podcast - if so - check out Coopcast Episode 001)

Chicken Thistle Farm offers residents in the Rochester area the opportunity to be part of the local food community by becoming part of our vegetable CSA.  If you want to know how it works or what makes ours a little different, you have come to the right place.

Remember – a CSA is not a grocery store – it’s real, locally grown food. Check out our blog posts to see what has been included in our shares each week for the past several years.
