The planing for the 2012 CSA season is underway and we are well over capacity in our waiting list.  As much as we would love to have everyone as part of our CSA, we just can’t manage that.  We have been filling the remaining openings by moving through the interest list in the order people submitted their names earlier this year.

If you are wondering how we do things as you are looking for a CSA that’s not already filled in 2012, here’s a copy of the contract we ask our members to sign when committing to the harvest season and it’s bounty (or struggle) HERE.

(You may also like to hear our thoughts about a CSA from the farmers perspective in our podcast - if so - check out Coopcast Episode 001)

Don’t feel completely left out - we are going to have a road side stand this year complete with it’s own twitter account that is updated the moment delicious veggies are put out.

Chicken Thistle Farm offers residents in the Rochester area the opportunity to be part of the local food community by becoming part of our vegetable CSA.  If you want to know how it works or what makes ours a little different, you have come to the right place.

Remember – a CSA is not a grocery store – it’s real, locally grown food.

If you are interested in our CSA, we recommend you sign up to get more information here.
