Summer on light wings

All I can say here really,  is let the pictures speak for themselves.

Just a week or so back we caught this butterfly enjoying a meal on the final tips of the butterfly bush Kelli planted right next to the deck.  Truly the end of summer on light wings.

It took quite a few attempts but these are the two best shots sized for the blog.

This was really one of those "stop and smell the roses" moments.
