I'm peachy, you?

Come on - don't they look great? Especially since they are off the tree in our front yard.  No chemicals - all natural sunshine - awesome taste!

Some of them may "look" a little rough around the edges - but buy ohh boy were we excited to watch these guys develop on the tree this year.

Which, was almost cut short by the stupid crows that decened en mass on the tree the other day...  but, my keen sense of foul play activate d (and I saw them fly by), I jumped to action...  and as I shooed the crows away, I proceeded to pick all the fuzzy little fellows!

Kelli turned most of them into a pie - and I consumed the rest with lunch.

I feel inspired...  "Movin to the country gonna eat a lot of peaches.."

"Foul play" or "fowl play"?

Yeah, some of those look a bit rough, but I'm guessing that just makes 'em taste that much better? Congrats on your harvest.

can I just tell you I love your little posts, I get such a kick out of them and of course slightly jealous that you grow all this stuff yourself!! Zach is actually very excited that you said you will come help him plant his own garden next year, it will be your mini chicken Thistle Farm!!!
