The barn - it is a purlin...

LeantoThe purlin's are going on now (took last night off due to 90 degree and sunny) - plus the previous post shows that I needed to run out to get a few new 'maters to replace the sick ones before the shopping frenzy that Memorial Day weekend causes.

Anyhow - this weekend my dad will be returning to help attach the balance of the purlins and start (maybe even complete) the installation of the roofing.

The Amish cut board and batten is marooned at the Amish sawmill right now as my friends transmission on his F-350 just died - so there's no way to pull his huge trailer...  but that's fine.  Because if we get the roof on - I'll HAVE to start planting the garden!
