Mid-October Update
Monday, October 19, 2009 at 7:44PM
This is the time of year where it gets harder and harder to update the blog since there is really less and less "farm" related activities going on. The days have grown rather short and there's not much left to do outside. Well - maybe that's not true, but the nature of what's left to do doesn't make for very interesting story telling on the web.
I can tell you this last weekend (as I tweeted from @chickenthistle) Kelli and I headed up to Buffalo for her brothers wedding the day after we celebrated our 10th anniversary. Aside from our milestone - the wedding was terrific.
One thing that was pleasantly surprising at the reception was meeting so many of the readers of our blog and getting to hear about how they use the chickens they have bought (here's that link Michelle) - and what they are looking for in future products from our humble farm. As much as we sincerely enjoy growing food to share with people and telling the stories associated with that work - there's an extra reward for us when we get to hear YOUR stories and comments in person (but we love the comments here too).
