What the ... - FROST?!

Yup - lots of white grass this am... Minimum temperature 35.6 °F at time: 5:10 AM
Good thing I have completely given up on the weather predictions as there was no warning for our area but all signs pointed towards it as the sun was setting last night... Kelli and I put pots and plastic bags over all the plants - all 100 of them... Looked good this morning when I took them off... but this madness needs to stop - the tomatoes are almost too big to be sheltered under a 1 gallon pot now... and it's just a few days from June for goodness sake!
As for the asparagus - the next couple of days will be telling to see how it did - the frost was not too heavy so hopefully they are ok... they are branching out into nice ferns now.
