Countertop Replacement - Day 1
Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 7:27PM
The project we have been talking about started last Friday at high noon with the arrival of our friends Heidi and Rob from Appleton Wisconsin. After a quick lunch on the way to the house from the airport - Rob and I got right at the main reason for the visit - replacing those old worn countertops. Very quickly we ripped them off.

Once the uglies were removed from the kitchen and we templated our needs - it was the first of many hours over the weekend in the barn - or "man cave" as Rob like to call it. Here we are making some of the initial rough cuts in the Corian with a router - I'm holding the cutoff piece.

We had everything rough cut and the seam glued before we called it a night.
