Bedroom antics - part 2

Last week the new floor went in... and WOW what a difference. The room opened up and felt a lot lighter with just the carpet gone - but with the gleaming carbonized vertical bamboo down - WOW!
Here's a shot looking back towards the corner with the walk-in closet... Obviously the walls need some new paint to go with these floors - and Kelli is working on that The paint swatches are appearing taped to the walls, baseboards, furniture... you name it... But before we paint the walls in here and show the final results furnished - apparently we are taking a remodel detour to the guest bathroom, as that is now the priority.
The goal is to have the guest bathroom looking spiffy before our friends Heidi and Rob arrive in mid-March to rip out the counters in the kitchen and have Rob and I redo them in Corian and Zodiac. Rob's pretty handy with that - as he owns Surface Creations. (so if you are in the Appleton WI market and need counters - call them, ask for Rob, tell him Andy sent you... he will give you a free bud vase that matches your counter!)

Oh wow - cool - and I'm very jealous on the remodels! The floor looks great!

Just make sure you don't get granite counters in that bathroom remodel - VERY dangerous from what I hear!
