Savvy Spending

Yes - things are cold and slow this time of year... not a lot to report on around the homestead... but I am getting a few trip pictures ready. And I'll be doing some barn work this weekend as well as baking - so that should make for some material. But in the lull between then and now - I thought I'd venture into a post that is just there for you to think on...

It's right from the Fed hearing on Capitol Hill today about the prospects of the economy:

During Thursday's hearing, Bernanke said he thought a fiscal stimulus package of up to $150 billion, would be "reasonable."

I can honestly say - I really don't know what "$150 billion US dollars" and "reasonable" are doing in the same sentence - for anything. WOW! That's a lot of tomato seeds in the catalogs I'm perusing!
