Deck the walls (shop walls)

Well - with a freezer full of venison - and a lack of tags left to bag another one (although I still could harvest a doe at home) - it was back to the shop for me... Well, not immediately... I did take a couple of days to digest all the turkey and stuffing from a terrific Thanksgiving dinner.
Anyhow - what better return to the shop than the hanging of the tractor sign
? No shop is complete without one of these!
At any rate - most of the gross settling of goods and large items is now complete... the backhoe is up for the winter and so is the belly mower. Overall - the shop is slowly starting to look more like a shop and less like a dumping ground for things moved. It will be very interesting to see if the plans pan out next spring and the lean to gets built... then there will be a LOT more room in the barn. The tractor and the implements will all go out under the new roof... which leaves me guessing - I'll need more tools! Speaking of - I discovered one small problem with a barn based shop without a constant heat source... the glue gets, uhh, thick.
As for inside the house - Kelli has been busy getting Chicken Thistle Farm ready for Christmas... the dishes are unpacked, a wreath or two has been spotted on various nails and alcoves... there has even been talk of stringing some garland.
Yup - Christmas is coming to the farm!
