Barn Storming

Not exactly in an airplane... but the last weekend in September did get a crew (in the photos is myself, my dad and my Uncle) up our way - with the intent of getting a bunch of things done in the barn. As you can see in these photos - I'm doing the important measuring work... They are doing all the "real" work!
Needless to say - we completed the entire west wall of the barn with OSB over a 7/16 air gap over 1" foil backed foam over a 2" air gap... over the board and batten siding. And it does a GREAT job of keeping the wind out... We also got two of the bays along the south wall done - with left over materials to do another bay or so.
After a hard days work Saturday - we all got to enjoy some ribs provided by Kelli's folks (who were up - and her dad did a front brake job on her car while we were doing the barn) and Max and Carol (other friends) were over... full house - full bellies! The ribs were bigger and fatter than normal - came out of the smoker moister... VERY yummy!
