Ok – “seedless” – triploid is the scientific term for “extra chromosome that makes you sterile” – and these watermelons have that.

Come on – don’t they look great? Especially since they are off the tree in our front yard. No chemicals – all natural sunshine – awesome taste!
Some of them may “look” a little rough around the edges – but buy ohh boy were we excited to watch these guys develop on the tree this year.

Is that a… yup. It’s 3 of them… fresh from OUR garden. Which is kind of amazing considering the cold summer thuse far – but apparently starting these artichokes from seed way back in March was enough to get them to the plate in mid-August.
