7 years ago – cool, crisp, clear autumn morning – right around this very hour – very similar to today – our country was violated in an outrageous act of aggression against innocent citizens like you and me.
I write today post with NO politics – NO agenda.
I only ask that you simply take a moment out of your busy schedule to pause and remember the flood of emotions you felt 7 years ago today as you watched the towers fall. As the lives of people you didn’t know were lost – and as a nation we “knew” every soul as a brother or sister.
I ask that you remember the fear and terror in the weeks that followed – that first day you saw an airplane in the sky again. The first time you were outside of you own home and heard a loud – unexpected – noise.
I ask that you reflect on why it is we don’t ever see images of that day’s events anymore. Remember our leaders standing together on the steps of our nations capitol – the falling towers – the heroes – the loss.
I ask that you remember the 2996 lives lost – the families devastated – the world changed.
I ask that you never forget.

What a moving remembrance. I don’t know anyone who will ever forget that day and not pray for all those lives lost and the families and friends
whose lives are forever changed.
