Re-Potting It’s the time of year when things get almost as busy as that time of year where you are harvesting the crops. This is sorta the pre-planting rush… where you make sure you have all the seeds that are ready for the last frost planting… when all the plants you started from seed [...] In memory of a little 5… After watching the circle of life last night in the field while a doe spent nearly an hour licking and nudging her new born fawn towards it’s new life… this morning we encountered the other side of natures harshness – our nest of 5 baby Eastern Bluebirds was suddenly silent [...] Well – not so much dirt as it is soil… and it’s note really a secret either.Yesterday I used some of my Federal taxes that I pay all year – went to the USDA web site – and generated a free soil analysis of our 35 acres – very accurate and comprehensive – it shows [...] |
