We spent a big chunk of Memorial Day weekend getting all the 100+ plants out of the 1 gallon pots and into the ground… and now tonight – for the second night in a a row – we spent a bunch of time getting the plants back into the pots (sorta)… it looks like we are growing rows of black plastic 1 gallon pots!
Last night the frost (yes, May 27th FROST) was pretty heavy – but for the most part the plants fared well…
Tonight looks to be about the same – the sky is clear and the wind is non-existent.
Here’s to hoping the pots and bags protect the transplants for one more day! I have to think this is the end of the frost for the season.

Mmmmm…you’re going to have an amazing harvest! Do you prefer the black plastic pots on the grill, or in salad, or? Any good recipes you want to share on how to use them?
They char on the grill… and in a salad they don’t mix well with the oil…
I prefer them FRESH off the vine!
