Christmas day does slowly approach

As you have seen – the number of updates we have shared in the last week or so has been rather small – as there has been a lot of time spent getting ready to host both our families and their dogs over Christmas Eve and Day.The tree is trimmed and ready for Santa and his reindeer to deliver all the gifts…
All the stockings are hung by the chimney with care…
Yup – the farm is getting ready for Christmas – the front posts on the porch are pine garland wrapped and twinkling with lights – inviting candles are in every window – and with every passing day- we are one day closer. That’s one less day to prepare, one less day to wrap and bake… and one less day to enjoy the season. So take a cue from our farmhouse to yours – pause for a moment and enjoy the snow against the labors of YOUR holiday lights… and wish someone a Merry Christmas!
