One of this weekends activities was a trip to the Marion Antique Tractor Show and Pull. We all had a terrific time watching these vintage farm fixtures chug around and try to pull a sled with cement filled barrels around. I’d have to say – it doesn’t get any more genuine or all-American than that!

Lots and lots of vintage 30′s-40′s-and a few 50′s tractors. Some were perfectly restored – some were in need of a little love – but ran great.
This tractor here was the winner in it’s weight class – a 2 cylinder steel wheel John Deere. Lots of power – and it hardly sounds like it’s running! The kid driving it had about 6 different restored tractors he drove for him and his father.
